• Keep it in contact with water as little as possible, otherwise it will be ruined; wash the cutting board under running water with soap. Dry it quickly with a dishcloth and hold it up until completely dry. The whole process must be quick so that the wood does not absorb water.
• We recommend treating the cutting board with specific oil for cutting boards to keep its beauty intact; scratches from use that will appear with use are normal: they will fade over time until they disappear.

N.B.:

The cutting board is supplied unfinished with mineral oil to be applied before use with blotting paper. Spread the oil evenly on one side of the cutting board at a time and allow time for the wood to absorb it and then wipe with paper to remove any excess oil. Repeat on the other side and allow to air dry. After treatment it is normal for the color of the wood to become darker. Cutting boards like all wood products should be in contact with water as little as possible. You can wash the cutting board under running water, even with mild, mild detergent. After drying it should be kept standing in the air to allow it to dry completely before storing. In order to keep the beauty of the wood intact and reduce the absorption of liquids released by food during use, we recommend that you regularly repeat treatment with mineral oil specifically for cutting boards. During use it is normal for scratches to appear on the surface, which tend to fade naturally over time. Do not under any circumstances put the product in a dishwasher, oven or microwave oven.
